Truth Community is a multicultural congregation that is filled with and led by the power of the Holy Spirit. We seek to establish true change, true relationships, and true impact in each person's life.
True Change: Our Sunday morning and mid-week programs are designed to be life-changing. The atmosphere of prayer and worship allows the presence of God to give life. Each week's teaching digs into the Bible and challenges the listeners to not only hear, but to do the Word of God.
True Relationships: Community Groups exist to help build authentic relationships in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Community Groups meet throughout the week in various locations across the Springfield Metro Area.
True Impact: We believe in empowering the church to make an impact. This impact does not take place within the four walls of the church only. We believe in making an impact on our community and the world. Involvement in ministry, outreach, and donating to worthy causes empowers believers and makes an impact.
be knocked out, and remodeling took place to allow the little congregation to grow. Everyone, no matter where they were in life,were welcomed to be involved in the church.
Years later, property was purchased on North Broadway. In June of 1969 services were held in the new building. A fellowship hall and second story Christian education floor was later built.
